Police probe explosion at bank ATM

Denver police are investigating an apparent ATM robbery attempt and explosion at a bank in southeast Denver.
Evidence of an explosion was visible when police responded at 7 a.m. Tuesday at the -US Bank at 2555 S. Colorado Blvd.
The police bomb squad and FBI agents are assisting in the investigation. No suspects have been identified.
It was not immediately known if money was taken.
Shrapnel from the blast was apparently responsible for a shattered window at a nearby chiropractic office.
John Daniels, of Daniels Chiropractic, said debris from the explosion also was believed to have landed on the roof of his business.
