GOLDEN - Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who was found dead in front of a vacant home last week.
Authorities released an artist's drawing Wednesday of the dark-haired man, who was found in the 8400 block of Scenic Drive near Morrison.
"We can't start this investigation without knowing his name," said Jefferson County sheriff's investigator Dan Dunnebecke.
Investigators provided photos of the man's clothing, which included boots sold only online. The man was wearing a gray shirt with a DECA logo over the left breast.
DECA is an acronym for Delta Epsilon Chi, an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management and other business specialities.
The man was wearing newer blue jeans and brown Georgia brand work boots with brown, broken laces.
He was 40 to 55 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, and had a long black ponytail and a mustache.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at 303-271-5612.
