An electrician working at Denver International Airport drove on a runway this week without authorization, airport authorities said Wednesday.

DIA has decided to restrict motor vehicle access to the airfield and increase driver training because of the infraction. No aircraft were in the area where the motorist crossed the runway, officials said.
