An incoming CSU basketball recruit accused of theft has denied stealing two wallets and fraudulently using a debit card.
"Nothing happened," former Aurora Central High School star Stephen Marcus Franklin said by phone from his Aurora home, declining to elaborate. "I have nothing to talk about."
An arrest warrant has been issued for Franklin, 18, who is accused of stealing wallets belonging to two women and using the debit card several times to buy $50 of food and gas, CBS 4 News reported.
The alleged crime was reported July 13 in Fort Collins, police said.
The investigation is continuing.
